Health Effects

FOR CHEMICAL EMERGENCY, SPILL, LEAK, FIRE, EXPOSURE OR ACCIDENT, CALL CHEMTREC DAY OR NIGHT 1-800-424-9300. Precautions: Vapor combustible. May be harmful if swallowed or inhaled. May cause eye and skin irritation. Keep away from heat, flame and sparks. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash after handling. FIRST AID: For any over exposure get immediate medical attention after first aid is given. Eyes- Flush 15 minutes with clean water. Skin - Wash with soap and water. Inhalation - Remove from fresh air. Ingestion - Only if conscious, give large amounts of water and INDUCE VOMITING. FIRE AND SPILLS. For fires, use water fog, CO2, foam or dry chemicals. Wipe up spills to prevent footing hazards. STORAGE AND HANDLING: Store in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed when not in use. Do not reuse empty container. Inhalation: Nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness, narcosis, headache, nausea, CNS depression, and unconsciousness.
Eye Contact: Watering, blurred vision, inflammation, and irritation which can result in corneal injury.
Skin Contact: Irritation, dermatitis.
Ingestion: Nausea, vomiting; CNS depression; irritation of gastrointestinal tract, liver and peritoneal wall; lung congestion.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Individuals with pre-existing or chronic diseases of the eyes, skin, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal system, liver or kidneys may have increased susceptibility to excessive exposures.

INHALATION: If overcome by exposure, remove victim to fresh air immediately. Give oxygen or artificial respiration as needed. Obtain emergency medical attention. Prompt action is essential.
EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Get prompt medical attention.
SKIN CONT ACT: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
INGESTION: If swallowed, call a physician immediately. Only induce vomiting at the instruction of a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Keep container closed when not in use. Do not store near heat, sparks, or open flames.
Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin or clothing. Empty containers may contain residues and vapors; treat as if full and observe all product precautions. Do not reuse empty containers. Keep out of reach of children.
