The FGDC supports NSDI training through a distributed network of partners including State GIS Coordinators, university GIS programs, independent consultants, and federal programs including the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) and the National Oceanic and Administrative (NOAA) Coastal Services Center.

NSDI training has traditionally focused on Geospatial Metadata and NSDI Clearinghouse implementation to aid individuals in documenting and publishing their geospatial data resources. To better address the needs of the geospatial community, the National Geospatial Programs Office (NGPO) has initiated development of a more comprehensive NSDI Training Program.

• Locate or register as an NSDI trainer at the FGDC Trainer Registry
  
• Learn about training opportunities for the Tribal Community
• Access available Training Materials from FGDC and NSDI Stakeholders.
