Intro to Metadata - TX Association of Regional Councils

The workshop will provide course material on the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standardized metadata profile - Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM) and the proposed Texas Geospatial Data Profile (TX-GDP). The workshop will also cover information on other metadata standards, software tools such as the Texas Metadata Editor (TX-ME) and profile extensions, and about the existing metadata resource network for the creation, development and dissemination of metadata in conjunction with the Geospatial One-Stop program.
