In the 1940's Tuskegee, Alabama became home to a "military experiment" to train America's first African-American military pilots. The mean annual temperature is 65 degrees. The weather is generally mild in the spring and fall and hot in the summer. Winter is moderate. The temperature may range from the mid-30's in winter to the low 100's in the summer.
