Violation: THE FAR POINT ANALYZER CHART-RECORDER NOTED 2.14 WHILE A MANUAL TEST NOTED 0.99. A SECOND TEST NOTED 1.00 PPM WHILE THE ANALYZER CHART-RECORDER NOTED 2.21 PPM. THE ENGINEER'S TESTS NOTED 2.11 PPM AND 2.17 PPM, RESPECTIVELY. AS PER TECHNICAL SUPPORT AT HACH THE ENGINEER'S TEST KIT WAS NOT USED PROPERLY AND THE TEST SAMPLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DILUTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEST KIT'S MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS.
Recommendation:5.5.1.2.3 The free residual halogen measured by the halogen analyzer shall be ±0.2 mg/L (ppm) of the free residual halogen measured by the manual test. Ensure that the test kit is used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
