Violation: THE MEDICAL STAFF COULD NOT LOCATE THE BACTERIAL SPECIMEN COLLECTION MEDIA. THIS IS A NEW REQUIREMENT IN THE 2005 VSP OPERATIONS MANUAL.
Recommendation:Ensure the medical staff maintains a supply of at least 10 clinical specimen collection containers for both viral and bacterial agents (10 for each), as well as the proper shipping containers and labels for the same and provided in Annex 13.4 of the VSP Manual.
*Inspections scores of 85 or lower are NOT satisfactory
