THERE WERE NO SHIPPING LABELS FOR THE VIRAL AND BACTERIOLOGICAL SAMPLE COLLECTION CONTAINERS. THIS IS A NEW ITEM IN THE 2005 VSP OPERATIONS MANUAL. STAFF STATED THAT THE COMPANY IS HANDLING THIS TO PROVIDE THESE ITEMS FOR ALL VESSELS IN THE LINE.
Recommendation:
4.3.1.1 Ensure that a supply of at least 10 clinical specimen collection containers for both viral and bacteriological agents (10 each), as well as the proper shipping containers and labels for same are provided.
*Inspections scores of 85 or lower are NOT satisfactory
