SUBJECT:  Treasury Directive (TD) 12-39, “Delegation of Authority to the Inspector General to Transfer Staff”

CANCELLATION DATE:  October 31, 2008

REASON FOR CANCELLATION:  Treasury Directive 12-39 is cancelled.  It expired upon completion of the transfers required in section 1103(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998.
