Monday through Friday
Closed Saturday and Sunday and all federal holidays

Where to call or write for information

For security reasons, all U.S. Postal Service and private carrier mail is being screened off-site prior to arrival at the Library of Congress. Please be aware that this screening process can add 3 to 5 days to the delivery time for all mail. Please note our Reference Policy Statement.
