Library

The JNEM Library is a research facility available to researchers studying American westward expansion and related subjects.

The library is open for research Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays. It is located on the second floor of the historic Old Courthouse at Broadway and Market Streets in downtown St. Louis.

Researchers who are considering a visit to the library may read our library procedures to better acquaint themselves with the library's operational rules. Both JNEM staff members and public researchers are encouraged to call the library in advance to schedule their library use, whenever possible.
