Jefferson National Expansion Memorial
Museum of Westward Expansion Exhibits

The exhibits at the Museum of Westward Expansion bring history to life. Learn about Lewis and Clark, and the many explorers that followed. With a Sioux war bonnet, life-size tipi, and covered wagon on display, see firsthand how the pioneers and the American Indians lived. Other exhibits demonstrate the way-of-life of farmers, buffalo hunters, miners and others whose lives played out during the time of the great westward expansion.

Explore the links to the left for information about some of the exhibits.

Unfortunately, in our migration to a new server, the interactive tour is not working. We hope to someday have it restored but for now you can read the content of the tour here: read the Museum Tour content.
