BOY SCOUT PROGRAMS FOR CUB SCOUTS
All programs listed below are approximately 50 minutes in length and are available year-round. A three-week advanced reservation is required. A minimum of six scouts or maximum of 30 scouts is required to book a program. If you have less than six scouts, we will try to place you with a previously scheduled group. You can make reservations by calling (314) 655-1700, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.
Wolf Cubs "Native American Lore"Explore the culture of the Plains Indians, how they lived, dressed and interacted with each other. Scouts will take part in sign language and picture writing activities. (At the Arch)
Bear Cubs "The Past is Exciting and Important"In this program, scouts will learn the importance of community and family history as they explore the Old Courthouse and its St. Louis History Galleries. (At the Old Courthouse)
Wolf/Bear Cubs "Native American Life"Not all Native Americans lived in tipis. Scouts will explore the culture of the Illini and Osage Indians and compare it to the lifestyle of the Plains Indians. (At the Arch)
Webelos "Scholars"
Since early times, people have placed a high value on learning. In this program, scouts will compare the apprentice system to more traditional forms of schooling. (At the Old Courthouse)

Did You Know?
In 1846, a slave named Dred Scott sued for his freedom at the St. Louis Courthouse. His case went all the way to the Supreme Court, where the verdict set the stage for the Civil War.
