The Louisiana Army National Guard has provided funding for NCPTT to host a workshop on the role of technology in archeological resource protection, especially in regard to remote site surveillance techniques. The workshop will ask representatives from major federal land management agencies to discuss the history of remote site surveillance, current approaches in using technology to protect cultural resources, and ways for agencies to work together to maximize resource protection initiatives involving technology.
