Returns Policy

Returns should be packed to avoid damage in shipping and sent to:

Individuals

1. Books may be returned within 30 days for a full refund.
2. Videos and CD-ROMS may be returned, provided they are unopened, within 30 days for a full refund.
3. The original invoice or packing slip must be included in the return shipment.
4. Shipping/handling for the original shipment will not be reimbursed.
5. PsychiatryOnline Refund Policy-You may cancel your PsychiatryOnline subscription at any time during the first 3 months of your subscription; you will receive a refund for the remaining months of your subscription. REFUND EXCEPTION: Purchases of PDA eBooks are not eligible for refunds.

Wholesalers and Retailers

Returns

1. Permission is not required.
2. Books must be in salable condition to be eligible for credit.
3. Books must be returned within 12 months of invoice date. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
4. The original invoice number must be referenced for full credit.
5. A 20% stocking fee will apply to returns with incomplete documentation.
6. Shipping of returned books will be at the expense of the customer.
7. Whenever a new edition of a book becomes available, the old edition must be returned within 90 days to be eligible for credit.
8. Shipping/handling for the original shipment will not be reimbursed.

Damaged Books

1. Books received from APPI in damaged or defective condition, or incorrect shipments, can be returned at APPI's expense for full credit.
   
2. Books returned to APPI that are damaged in transit will not be credited and will only be sent back to the customer at their request and expense. Books will be held for 30 days.
   
3. The original invoice number must be referenced for full credit.
