APPI's Customer Service Department is here to provide superior customer service to all of our customers. We process all phone orders, inquiries, address changes, and all other customer service calls.

Q. If I'm an American Psychiatric Association (APA) member am I entitled to a discount?
A. If you are an American Psychiatric Association (APA) member you are entitled to receive a 10% discount on your order. If you are an American Psychiatric Association Member in Training you are entitled to receive a 25% discount on all web based orders. When ordering on this site your discount will automatically be applied. For information about becoming an APA member please click here.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. For journal subscriptions, the issues should arrive at the beginning of the month corresponding to the journal's issue date. Back issues should arrive in 3-5 weeks. Please allow an extra 2 weeks for international destinations.

Book orders will be shipped within approximately 5 business days, at which time you will receive a shipping confirmation.

Q. When can I go for assistance regarding a PDA Ebook I purchased?
A. If you purchased an eBook for your PDA from PsychiatryOnline.com, please go to www.psychiatryonline.com for assistance. If you purchased an eBook for your PDA from Skyscape, please go to www.skyscape.com for assistance.

Q. I received my order, but it did not have a copy of an invoice?
A. Invoices are mailed separately from the package and should arrive within a week of receiving your order. If you need a copy of an invoice immediately, please call our customer service line at (800) 368-5777.

Q. Where can I get the most recent information on a book?
A. APPI's web site is updated daily and has the latest information and prices on each title.

Q. How do I access my journal online?
A. Use www.psychiatryonline.org/subscriptions. Enter your subscriber number found on your mailing label above your name.

Q. Does APPI accept purchase orders?
A. Yes. Please call 800-368-5777 for more information. Bookstores and institutions may fax a copy of your order to 703-907-1091.

Q. How can I receive an examination copy or desk copy of a book for course consideration?

Q. How can I change my address for my journal subscription?
A. Email us at appi@psych.org. Please provide your old and new address in your request.

Q. How can preview a journal article if I am not a subscriber?

Q. How will my order be shipped?
A. APPI ships via UPS ground. We require a street address to ship your order, and cannot ship to Post Office boxes.
