FAQ
DOCLINE -- Ship to Patron

Question: How do I ship a request to a patron but have it billed to my institution?
Answer:

The DOCLINE Delivery Address screen in Borrow can be modified by the person placing the request without affecting the default address stored in your institution record. Simply replace your institution's address with the patron's, then click Finish. The billing address shown on a request always comes from the Billing Address in your institution record.

If the patron makes such requests often, you might consider asking them to register as a Loansome Doc patron. Instructions for LD registration can be found at: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/factsheets/loansome.doc.html
