FAQ
DOCLINE -- Loansome Doc Patron Requests When Inactive

Question: Can my Loansome Doc patrons send me requests if my DOCLINE status is temporarily inactive?
Answer:

If a library is set to "temporarily inactive" and has provided the RML with a resume service date on the Out of Office request, then the Loansome Doc user would receive a warning message saying that the "library is not processing requests until (resume service date). Please contact library with any questions at (LD contact's phone number)." After viewing the warning message, the user can choose to continue with the order. The user receives the same message during registration if they select your library. They are given the opportunity to complete registration, or select another library.

If the library did not provide a resume service date, then the Loansome Doc user is stopped from ordering with the message: "Library is not currently processing requests. Please contact library with any questions at (LD contact's phone number)." The user receives the same message during registration if they select your library. They cannot register with your library.
