2006 data is the first year that the most recent burden reduction policy changes went into effect. Companies can now choose to limit the amount of information they report using the Form A if they have 5,000 pounds or less of chemical waste (or 2,000 pounds if 2,000 pounds or less is released directly into the environment). The old threshold was 500 pounds. For more information, click here. We're planning more improvements, including new navigation options, further refinements to our new summary view, and much more, to be released in the next few months. If you have suggestions, please contact us at rtkhelp@rtknet.org or at 202-234-8494. Changes at RTK NETIn response to new challenges and opportunities, the Right-to-Know Network is being reformed to more actively answer the call to protect and promote our right to know about environmental and health concerns. The new Right-to-Know Network will be a fusion between RTK NET and the Working Group on Community Right-to-Know. RTK NET gives you access to a wide variety of information from the TRI and other databases on our site. Check out the databases on RTK NET, run a search or two, and go from there.
