NCPTT will host four interns in its materials research program this summer.

Molly McGath, a graduate student persuing a Ph.D. in conservation science at the University of Arizona, will be investigating pollution deposition to ingorganic stone strengtheners on marble and limestone.

Catherine Arseneaux is an undergraduate at the Savannah College of Art & Design. She will compare graffitti removal techniques this summer.

Candida Davanzo comes to NCPTT through the Cultural Diversity program. She will research African American burial traditions in the Cane River region.

Paige Isaacs, a graduate student at the SUNY Buffalo art conservation program, plans to spend three weeks at NCPTT in July to learn more about the role of technology in preservation.
