CESWF-EC-TP
- Responsible for preparation of reports for investigations, project planning, and strategic planning for support of the CESWF civil works programs. Participates in conduct of reconnaissance and feasibility studies for water resource development plans addressing meeds for flood protection, water supply and conservation, recreation, hydroelectric power, navigation, and environmental restoration. Conducts work for others to include emergency water panning, and many other water-related issues. Provides a full range of technical services and planning guidance on flood and flood plain related issues. Assists in development of agreements for non-Federal sharing of study and project costs. Participate in public meetings. Provides water resource assistance to local and state governments and to other Federal agencies.
- Responsible for technical management and conduct of regional or river basin and special studies as assigned including State of Texas water plans, urban and water supply studies. Responsible for technical management and conduct of specifically assigned implementation studies, preconstruction engineering and design studies, and Section 216 studies, to include problem identification, plan formulation, impact assessment, and report writing.
- Responsible for technical management and conduct of local flood control studies and special studies as assigned. Responsibilities include preparing reports for implementation of feasibility studies and General Investigations Program, Continuing Authorities Program, and other community assistance studies, as assigned.
- Responsible for accomplishing all hydropower studies in General Investigations, Preconstruction Engineering and Design, and Review of Existing Projects programs. Maintains needed coordination with Southwestern Power Administration, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and other Federal agencies on new and continuing hydropower project studies and reports.
