Notice to Our Patrons Regarding Census Records
Census records, 1800 through 1930, for all states in the Northeast Region are available via use of our public access computers and on microfilm which is located here in our research room in Waltham.
For all other states, this information is only available via the internet. Rolls of microfilm for these states formerly offered at this location have been donated to a public library. While some customers prefer using the microfilm to the internet, space and programming considerations no longer allow us the luxury of keeping a full set of census microfilm at this location.
In the event that you need a certified copy of a census record that is no longer available at this location, we will service your request out of our Pittsfield office. Any of our staff members can help you with this.
