Easy Fixes: Pre-Erection Yard

Hazard: Numerous activities within a shipyard, such as blasting, painting cutting and grinding, contribute to the possibility of workers getting foreign bodies caught in the eyes.

Solution: As seen in the photo below, these simple brooms in a Japanese shipyard are testimony to the cleanliness of the yard grounds and to the minimization of injuries due to foreign bodies blowing into the eyes of workers.
