The Sequoia Natural History Association
is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting education, interpretation, research, and the natural and historic preservation of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Devils Postpile National Monument, Lake Kaweah, and other areas of the National Park System. The Sequoia Natural History Association (SNHA) is committed to enriching the experiences of visitors and promoting public awareness of the significance of national parks through educational programs, publications, and financial support.
SNHA operates the bookstores in the park visitor centers, manages the Pear Lake Ski Hut, offers field seminar courses and custom programs for groups and schools, publishes the parks’ free visitor newspaper, and runs the Beetle Rock Education Center and the Sequoia Field Institute.

Planning a trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks? Check out our vacation package to help get you started.

Do you search the internet? Now you can help SNHA help these parks by doing what you do anyway. The next time you need to do a search, instead of going to Google or Yahoo, go to goodsearch.com.

GoodSearch cause banner

This is a yahoo search engine with an added feature.  Every time you do a search, the search engine donates a penny to SNHA.
Here's how it works:

1. Go to goodsearch.com
2. In the bottom box type in Sequoia.  A list will appear.  Select SNHA.
3. Use the upper box to do your search.
4. Put Goodsearch as a "favorites link" on your computer.
5. If your cookies are turned on, each time you return to Goodsearch , SNHA will appear in the bottom box so you do not have to retype it.

If 100 people averaging 5 searches per day on the internet switched to this search engine and selected SNHA as their charity, SNHA would get $1,825 at the end of the year to be used towards providing educational opportunities and natural resource program support to these magnificent public lands. Every dollar, and yes, even every penny, makes a difference!
