Constitution Day 2007 Poster Contest

Constitution Day is a Federal holiday that falls on September 17 to celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution by the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787. Federally-funded educational institutions are required to hold an educational program pertaining to the United States Constitution on Constitution Day. See the Federal Register: May 24, 2005 (Volume 70, Number 99).

The Gov Doc Kids Group Constitution Day Poster Contest is an easy and fun Constitution Day activity that challenges kids to think about how the Constitution’s guarantees of freedom relate to their lives.
