The National Archives - Northeast Region welcomes you to participate in these special events to celebrate your local community, your local history, and your local National Archives. This year's Archives Month theme is Exploring New Worlds: Archives in Our Lives.


Thursday, October 4
Using Naturalization Records for Genealogical Research
Learn about the naturalization process including denied and cancelled petitions, and learn how to research these valuable records via microfilm, databases, and online resources. In partnership with the German Genealogical Group.
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Exploring U.S. Custom House Records
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Custom House by learning about the documents that tell its history. In partnership with the General Services Administration.
