War in the Pacific National Historical Park
T. Stell Newman Visitor Center

War in the Pacific NHP is proud to announce that the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center is open to the public.

Through a partnership with the U.S. Navy, this 4,149 square foot building houses a theater, temporary and loaned exhibits, and the park's museum collection.

The park's non-profit partner, the Arizona Memorial Museum Association operates a bookstore with an impressive collection of educational publications on the Pacific War, Guam history, the natural and cultural resources of this region.

The new visitor center is located just outside the main gate of the U.S. Navy base on the ocean-side of Marine Corps Drive, in the old Army Reserve Center.

The T. Stell Newman Visitor Center is open from Sunday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed some Federal Holidays and weekends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

As the park continues its efforts in design and planning for new permanent exhibits, it will host temporary and loaned exhibits. Completion of the permanent exhibits is scheduled for 2009.

For more information, please call (671) 333-4050.
