Materials for Training

Thank you for participating in the U.S. government’s redesigned currency public education program. The materials available on this page have been specifically designed for your use in communicating the important information about changes to the U.S. currency with your members, employees and customers. Each of the files below can be downloaded and used in a number of different ways, including: integrating them with your existing communications tools; using them in training seminars; hanging them in break rooms; and/or including them on your Web site. We hope that by using these materials your organization and its employees, members and customers will be better prepared to accept the new bills, identify the important security features and detect counterfeit money.

How To Use These Files

These files can be used in either a Macintosh or PC format. All files can be downloaded directly to your computer by right clicking and selecting “Save Target As…” The Adobe Acrobat files (those files ending in ".pdf") can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader 7.0 is available for free at www.adobe.com. The text files (those files ending in ".txt") can be viewed and edited with any word-processing software such as Microsoft Word or WordPerfect. The tiff files (those ending in ".tiff") can be placed using common desktop publishing software such as InDesign, PageMaker or QuarkXPress. The ".ppt" files can be opened in Microsoft PowerPoint.

$5 Presentation for Training Seminar

Use this PowerPoint presentation to host a training seminar for your employees or members. The presentation highlights the new and enhanced security features of the new $5 bill and also provides a comparison with the new $10, $20 and $50 bills. A helpful script is also in the presentation for your reference.


$5 Fact Sheet

This printer-friendly one-page flyer/handout highlights the primary security features used to authenticate official U.S. currency and can be easily duplicated for distribution.



$5 Newsletter Article

Does your company distribute a newsletter to its employees, members or customers? If so, use this article in your next issue.


$5 Envelope Stuffer

Use this helpful one-page document highlighting the security features of the new $5 bill as well as the images of previous redesigned bills as an insert for paychecks, monthly billings or other mailings.



Four Bill Sheet

This one-page, printer-friendly document provides a side-by-side view of all four newly designed U.S. paper money and can be replicated and distributed to employees or hung in breakrooms and point-of-sale areas.

This graphic image of the front of the bill (in 72 dpi) can be used in your newsletter, on your Web site or as part of your own training efforts.

This graphic image of the back of the bill in 72 dpi) can be used in your newsletter, on your Web site or as part of your own training efforts.

This graphic image, which includes both the front and back of the bill and the primary security features, can be used in your newsletter, on your Web site or as part of your own training efforts.
