Dr. Jones is a Senior Scientist with CRIISP and a Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Iowa. Dr. Jones is an expert in the use of hierarchical methods for analyzing clustered data, which is critical to understanding the effects of interventions targeted to patients that are often mediated through physician, clinic, or facility-level structures. Dr. Jones works closely with CRIISP investigators in developing study designs and analytical plans and instructs CRIISP biostatisticians on evolving techniques in hierarchical analysis.
