Health Effects

Extremely flammable. Contents under pressure. Irritates eyes, skin and respiratory tract. Vapor harmful.
Do not spray near sparks, heat or open flame. Vapors will accumulate readily and may ignite explosively. Vapors are heavier than air and can travel at floor level to distant ignition sources. Keep area ventilated during use and until all vapors are gone. Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames, pilot lights and heaters. Turn off stoves, electric tools and appliances and any other sources of ignition. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor and spray mist by opening windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection or leave the area. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat from radiators, stoves, hot water and other heat sources that may cause bursting. Do not puncture, incinerate, burn or store above 120 degrees F. Do not discard in home trash compactor. Keep away from children.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Inhalation: Irritation of the respiratory tract or acute nervous system depression characterized by the following progressive steps; headache, dizziness, staggering gait, confusion, unconsciousness, or coma. Skin or eye contact: Primary irritant.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If respiration has stopped restore breathing. Treat symptomatically. Consult a physician.
Splash (eyes): Flush immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Take to physician for medical treatment.
Splash (skin); Wash affected areas with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Consult a physician if irritation persists.
Ingestion: Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute. Do not induce vomiting. Consult physician or poison control center immediately. Treat symptomatically.

Handling/Disposal

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING:
Store away from extreme heat, fire, or open flame. Store in accordance with OSHA 1910.106. Store in well ventilated areas. Store as level 3 aerosol (NFPA 30B).
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. Avoid breathing vapors and spray mists. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Protect containers from damage. Store away from any source of ignition. Do not heat, puncture or incinerate containers. Contents under pressure and may contain explosive vapors. Do not remove or deface label. Keep out of the reach of children.

Dispose of in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. Dry primer and empty aerosol containers may be landfilled. Full or partially full aerosol containers should not be punctured or incinerated and should be treated as hazardous waste which requires disposal at an approved hazardous waste site.
