Access:

Via Greenwater Trail #1176:
Drive east on State Highway 410 from Enumclaw 20.3 miles to Greenwater Road #70. Turn left (north) onto Road #70 and follow it 9.6 miles to the trail sign. Turn right onto Road #7033, the trailhead on right side of road after 0.5 miles. Travel the Greenwater Trail #1176 for 5.6 miles to beginning of Maggie Creek Trail #1186. Trailhead Facilities: 30 parking spaces on shoulder and a stream at Greenwater Trailhead #1176.

Via Naches Trail #1175:
Drive east on Highway 410 from Enumclaw 20.3 miles to Greenwater Road #70. Turn left (north) and follow Road #70, 12.0 miles to the junction with Road #7080. Go straight on Road #70 for 0.5 mile to spur road #7000260 on the left. Follow Road #7000260 for 0.2 mile to the junction with Naches Trail #1175. Travel the Naches Trail #1175 west approximately 0.8 mile to Pacific Crest Trail #2000, then 1.1 miles south on Pacific Crest Trail to north end of Maggie Creek Trail #1186.

Attractions & Considerations (South to North):

The entire Maggie Creek Trail is within the Norse Peak Wilderness. From the Greenwater Trail #1176 junction, the trail descends and crosses the Greenwater River at milepoint 0.2. Watch out, there is no footing. At milepoint 0.4 cross Slide Creek and climb through old growth timber. At milepoint 3.6 cross Maggie Creek. The trail ascends to the ridgetop at mile 4.7. The last 0.5 mile of the trail is level grade to its junction with the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 at milepoint 5.0.
