Access:
Drive east on State Highway 410 from Enumclaw 20.3 miles to Greenwater Road #70. Turn left (north) onto Road #70 and follow 6.0 miles to Twenty-eight Mile Creek Road #72. Turn right (south) onto Road #72 and follow for 7.0 miles to Road #7250. Turn left onto Road #7250 and travel 2.0 miles to Road #7250210. Follow this road 0.5 mile to trailhead sign.
Attractions & Considerations:
The trail starts in a recent clearcut and follows the ridge. At mile point 0.6 is the junction with Ranger Creek Trail #1197. From this junction, the trail offers good views of Mt. Rainier and then climbs. At mile point 1.8 trail is the junction with Noble Knob Trail #1184.
Notes:
- A Northwest Forest Pass is required for each vehicle parked at the trailhead.
- No motorized vehicles allowed.
- Dogs must be on a leash.
- Use established rings for campfires.
