Abstract: (CIT): A variety of promising cancer vaccines and immunotherapies are in the pipeline, but they must travel down a rigorous scientific and licensing pathway. Plan now to attend this workshop, cosponsored by FDA and NCI, to learn from experts in government, industry, and academia about what is needed to bring cancer vaccines and immunotherapies through development and clinical trials to licensure. This workshop is ideal for researchers and representatives of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who are involved in product development and preparation for licensure. Individuals and companies will gain important insights into the efficient development of cancer vaccines and how to avoid development pitfalls. The workshop is also an opportunity for industry to provide feedback to regulatory agencies.
