Health Effects

| Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals. Danger. Causes severe eye and skin irritation. Harmful if absorbed through the skin or inhaled. May cause irritating reaction to certain individuals. Avoid contact with skin and eye or clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Protective clothing, including goggles, should be warn. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. First Aid: EYES: flush with plenty of water. Call a physician. SKIN: wash immediately with plenty of water. Call a physician. IF SWALLOWED: Drink promptly a large quantity of milk, egg whites, gelatin solution or, if these are not available, large quantities of water. Avoid alcohol. DO NOT administer liquids to an unconscious individual. NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate use of gastric lavage. |

Irritant--Inhalation of dusts and mist of copper salts may cause irritation of the upper respiratory tract. Ingestion can cause gastrointestinal disturbances, metallic taste.
