NORA Sector Agendas

The National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) is a partnership program to stimulate innovative research and improved workplace practices. NORA uses a sector-based approach to define and meet high priority needs through NORA Sector Councils. The councils develop goals and strategies for the nation and encourage partnerships to address the goals and promote improved workplace practices, all using open processes. These documents are called sector agendas. After considering public comments on a draft version, sector agendas are considered finalized, although each sector council considers its sector agenda to be a "living" document subject to updating as necessary.
