In response to the President's Executive Order 13392 of December 14, 2005 (Improving Agency Disclosure of Information), the Department of the Treasury has designated Peter B. McCarthy, Assistant Secretary for Management and Chief Financial Officer, as the Chief Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officer.
