Census 2000 Special EEO File Table Specifications and Corresponding Datasets

Based on the Federal Consortium's Specification for Tables for the Census 2000 Special EEO File, the Bureau of Census will create 24 datasets that will constitute the Special EEO File. The details for the Explanation for Datasets can be found on the linked Census website. To produce the datasets, the Consortium's Specifications for Tables for the Census 2000 Special EEO File were split into three main groups, consisting of worksite/residence, worksite and residence geographies. In producing the datasets, the main groups were further split into sections based on additional geographic areas, such as counties and places; aggregated occupational groups; age groups and educational attainment; and other selected characteristics.

Each of the Consortium tables found in the Specification for Tables is listed below with the associated datasets that will be created by the Bureau of Census for the 2000 Special EEO File.
