简介
世界各地的政府都在设法解决肥胖症和高血压流行程度不断增长的问题。我们的目标是为了评估一项身体质量指数(BMI)、血压和自报健康方面基于激励机制发展计划( Oportunidades, 前身为Progresa)的影响。

方法
由农村低收入(低于全国第20个百分位水平)墨西哥裔成人(年龄在30–65岁之间)组成的干预组(n = 5280)接受计划津贴(依据定期健康检查等健康行为方面的积极改变而定的现金转账) 3.5至 5.0 年。将他们与新招募的、还未开始接受津贴的成人控制组(n = 1063)进行对比。针对近50个社会经济协变量调整分析结果。

结果
干预社区成年人年龄和性别调整后的 BMI比控制社区低(26.57 kg/m2 比 27.16 kg/m2, P < 0.001),肥胖症流行程度(20.28% 比 25.31%, P < 0.001) 和体重过重流行程度(59.24% 比 63.04%, P = 0.03)也一样;这些结果都是在纳入协变量后降低。在针对所有协变量调整后,干预社区成年人顽固性高血压的组合流行程度较低(33.80% 比 34.52%, P = 0.008) 。在包含所有协变量后,干预社区中的平均收缩血压(β = –2.60, P < 0.001) 和平均舒张血压 (β = –2.84, P < 0.001)显著较低,自报健康结果较好。

结论
参与Oportunidades计划(一项大规模的现金转账计划)与农村墨西哥裔成年人较低的肥胖症和高血压流行程度以及较好的自报健康情况有关系。
