Highlights
31st Annual Artist/Teacher Institute (ATI)
ATI is a cosponsored program of the NJ Council on the Arts and Arts Horizons.  This summer over 100 teachers from across the state attended ATI at two locations: William Paterson University and Rutgers University/Camden.  Classroom teachers and art specialists alike immersed themselves in the arts, working side by side with master teaching artists.

King Reads Program
The purpose of the King Reads program is to share Dr. King’s message of hope and help students to unlock the promise of their potential by reading.  The King Reads Program supports and encourages early childhood literacy by having volunteers visit schools and area libraries and read to students and share the legacy of Dr. King and importance of reading. The King Reads program targets students in grades K through 3 in an effort to help ensure that every child can read at or above grade level by the end of the third grade.  More information to follow soon.
