Spanish Materials
Planner components highlight the life-saving benefits of buckling up while on the road during the holiday - and all through the year - while warning that failure to do so may result in a ticket. Each planner component has been designed to allow you to customize it to meet your community's individual needs.
Thanksgiving Day, known formally within the Hispanic community as Día de Acción de Gracias, is also known informally as Día del Pavo (Turkey Day). But no matter what you call it, the Thanksgiving Day holiday is a time for everyone in the United States to gather together with family and friends from near and far to give thanks and to feast.
Since the family aspect of Thanksgiving celebrations is especially important to the Hispanic community, the planner materials were developed to include a strong family-oriented creative theme: "El Día de Acción de Gracias tu familia te espera." (On Thanksgiving Day your family awaits you.)
Additionally, planner materials include the enforcement-themed Abrochado o Multado (Click it or Ticket) logo, as well as the behavioral-themed "Abróchate el cinturón de seguridad. Todos los viajes, todo el tiempo." (Buckle Up America. Every Trip. Every Time.) logo.
