An educational technology workshop and conference is under development in conjunction with the NCPTT Division of Archeology. This is intended to develop a series of best practices regarding the appropriate applications for technology in heritage education and archeological interpretation.

This workshop and conference will consist of:

  • master educators,
  • heritage educators,
  • archeological interpreters and
  • educational technology experts.

Appropriate participants include but are not limited to:

  • teachers,
  • education specialists,
  • interpreters,
  • non-formal/free choice learning educators and
  • museum curators.

Once the workshop has concluded, a conference designed to summarize and record best practices will convene. The conference will present best practices to be disseminated to educators, interpreters and other professional educators.
