U.S. Training & Education

About U.S. Training & Education

In order to stay ahead of counterfeiting, the United States government continues to redesign our paper money. As part of the introduction of the redesigned currency, the United States government has developed an extensive public education effort aimed at informing target industries and key stakeholder groups about the new designs.

To support these efforts, we have developed a number of educational materials that can be displayed, distributed and presented to cash handlers and the general public, including brochures, posters, newsletter articles, envelope inserts and a training presentation.

All materials have been designed specifically to help businesses educate and train cash handlers and the public about the new and enhanced features of each bill and what to look for to spot a counterfeit bill. The materials are free and can be ordered and downloaded from this Web site.

To support these efforts, we have developed a number of educational materials that can be displayed and distributed to cash handlers and the general public, including brochures, posters, newsletter articles and envelope inserts. Materials are also available to educate and train cash handlers about the new features and what to look for to spot a counterfeit bill. The materials are free and can be ordered or downloaded from this Web site.

Because U.S. currency is so widely used outside the U.S., we want to make sure that business and financial communities, foreign exchange companies, law-enforcement groups, banking officials, other cash handlers and, ultimately, the general public around the world know about the new bill designs and features.

We invite you to participate in our program to educate the public about the new designs. If you are interested in partnering with the BEP on a program to help communicate information about new currency designs, please contact:
