Overview
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Research
Library is a branch of the New
Jersey State Library and is funded by the Federal Highway Administration
State Planning and Research Program (FHWA).
The library serves New Jersey state government employees and members
of the general public by providing reference and referral services,
an online
catalog and lending materials on site
or by an inter-library loan through another library, photocopying
(fee charged), literature searches and notification of new materials.
The Research Library collects documents from a variety of sources,
including the Transportation
Research Board, FHWA,
other State
DOT's and NJDOT, particularly its Research
Bureau.
The Research Library is located on the third floor of the Main Office
Building of the David J. Goldberg Transportation Complex at 1035
Parkway Avenue in Ewing.
Library Staff is available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5
pm. Library services are available
in full to New Jersey state employees. The general public may use
the collection by e-mail appointment.
