Getting Started with NJFIT Welcome to the future of transportation in New Jersey. The NJFIT initiative represents a change in direction for the New Jersey Department of Transportation. With NJFIT, we are integrating road building and community building. We are forming partnerships to coordinate development and redevelopment in our towns and cities with transportation needs and investments.
