DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Allegiance Healthcare Corporation, Waukegan, Ill., is being
awarded a $8,912,480 firm fixed price indefinite quantity
contract for medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor
program. Three hundred proposals were solicited and three were
received. Work will be performed in Ontario, Calif. and Irvine,
Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 9, 1998. The
Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the
contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-7135).
AIR FORCE
General Electric Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded an
$8,367,138 face value increase to a indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity contract to procure retrofit kits,
support equipment and production introduction for F 110-GE- 1 29
engines applicable to F16 aircraft in Foreign Military Sales
actions for Bahrain, Egypt, Greece, Israel and Turkey. Contract
is expected to be completed September 2001. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort
supports foreign military sales to Bahrain, Egypt, Greece, Israel
and Turkey. Defense Logistics Agency, DCMC GE Aircraft Engines
Cincinnati, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94/D-2000,
SBO4).
ARMY
Technology Development Corporation*, Huntsville, Ala., was
awarded on March 7, 1997, a $641,039 increment as part of a
$9,969,386 cost-plus-fixed-fee (level of effort) contract for
Laser Radar Sensor Test Bed Program. Work will be performed in
Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by March 6,
2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole-source contract initiated on Nov.
26, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Strategic
Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala. (DASG60-97-C-0031).
Olin Ordnance, St. Petersburg, Fla., was awarded on March 7,
1997, a $79,943,127 modification to a firm-fixed-fee contract for
120MM, M829A2 Armor-Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot-
Tracer (APFSDS-T) 23,664 cartridges, and engineering change
proposal M6T4154 for cure accelerator. Work will be performed in
St. Petersburg, Fla., (36.56%), and Red Lion, Pa., (63.44%) and
is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a
sole source contract initiated on May 26, 1994 . The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command,
Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. (DAAE30-95-C-0086).
Cincinnati Gilbert Machine Tool Co.*, Cincinnati, Ohio, is
being awarded a $5,371,105 firm-fixed-fee contract for supplying,
furnishing, and installing the horizontal, boring, drilling, and
milling machine. Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio,
(80%), and Anniston, Ala. (20%) and is expected to be completed
by May 8, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 28 bids solicited on Dec. 12,
1995, and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S.
Army Industrial Operations Command, Anniston, Ala. (DAAC01-97-C-
0006).
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Maharrey-Houston Construction Co.*, Memphis, Tenn., is being
awarded a $333,000 increment as part of a $12,713,000 firm-fixed-
price contract for flood control of the Mississippi River and
tributaries, Mississippi Delta Region, La., Davis Pond Freshwater
Diversion Structure, Contract No. 1, St. Charles Parish, La.
Work will be performed in St. Charles Parish, La., and is
expected to be completed by Jan 5, 2000. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 132
bids solicited on May 15, 1996, and 9 bids received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New
Orleans, La. (DACW29-97-C-0026).
