Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will announce the kick
off of a Department of Defense-wide Acquisition Reform Week at a
news conference, Thursday, March 13, 1997, at 1:30 p.m. (EST), in
the DoD briefing studio, Room 2E781, The Pentagon. Under
Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology Paul G.
Kaminski will outline the themes for this year's reform efforts.
This briefing will be conducted in lieu of the regularly
scheduled DoD news briefing.
