Abstract:

This study examines the recent trends in asthma diagnosis among a national sample of adults residing in metropolitan and non-metropolitan counties. It analyzes data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the increasing prevalence of lifetime asthma. The study includes tables, references, a chart, and a list of related resources from the WWAMI Rural Health Research Center and the Centers for Health Workforce Studies. The study includes tables, figures, and references.
