3rd November: DCI continues to lose momentum.
The Domestic Company Index (DCI) was at 8 358.99 points by the end of the week of 31st October, a decrease of 0.9 percent from 8432.00 points of the previous week. A total of 424 381 shares were traded for the value of P1 301 054. To date DCI is down by 0.80 points.

31st October: Pula depreciates against most major trading currencies in October.

During the month ending October, the Pula depreciated against most major trading currencies, except the rand against which it appreciated by 6.8 percent. The largest depreciation was 21 percent and 13.9 percent against the Japanese yen and US dollar respectively. On an annual basis, the Pula fell against all the major trading currencies except the rand, against which it appreciated by 13.7 percent. The annual largest depreciation was 37.1 percent against the Japanese yen.

27th October: DCI declines further

The Domestic Company Index (DCI) was at 8432.00 points at the end of the week of 24th October, a decrease of 1.2 percent from 8 534.98 points of the previous week. A total of 2 780 347 shares were traded for the value of P17 333 865. To date DCI has risen by 0.06 points.
