National Priorities List or Superfund List A list of hazardous waste sites that have undergone preliminary assessment and site inspection to determine whether they pose immediate threats to persons living or working nearby. The sites on this list, which is promulgated by the EPA under CERCLA, are considered most in need of cleanup.
