I wish to extend a warm welcome to you as you visit our Website! Here you can access information on the Republic of Ghana and its activities at the United Nations,   Ghana Government links and contact information.

Shortly after attaining Independence on March 6, 1957, Ghana became a member of the United Nations, an organization committed to promoting peace and security,  fostering international co-operation in solving economic, social and humanitarian problems and  promoting culture and respect for human rights. Ghana has since been an active member of the United Nations  and remains committed to the ideals that inspired the creation of this global organization. It is our hope that through this website researchers, students and other interested individuals and entities will be able to obtain information on Ghana's activities at the UN more easily than ever before. This website also allows us to reaffirm our commitment to making the best possible use of Information and Communication Technology and conservation by using less hard copies to disseminate information.

In this regard, we will endeavour to keep the information on this site current and relevant. I invite you to visit our site often and encourage you to post your comments and suggestions. I also encourage you to visit other websites relating to Ghana, as well as the United Nations System.

Thank you for your interest .
