ARMY
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a
$6,790,200 firm fixed price contract for 150 Rotary wing blades(Tail blades)
used on the SU-60 (Blackhawk) helicopter. Work will be performed in Stratford,
Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1997. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract initiated on May 12, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.
S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-D-0045).
AlliedSignal Engines, AlliedSignal Incorporated, Stratford, Connecticut, is
being awarded a delivery order amount of $6,198,988 firm fixed price contract
for direct support plus 248 phase II tool sets for the M-1 Tank. Work will be
performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed June 30,
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on March 3, 1995. The contracting
activity is the U. S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren,
Michigan (DAAE07-G-A001).
Raytheon Company, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $7,250,000
increment as part of a $66,500,000 cost plus incentive fee contract for
development of remote launch/communications enhancement upgrade, Patriot
missile. Work will be performed in Bedford, Massachusetts, and is expected to
be completed by December 32, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March
27, 1995. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army Missile Command, Redstone
Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-96-C-0018).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Kiewit Construction Company, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $100,000
increment as part of a $8,976,750 firm fixed price contract for constructing
approximately 18,500 linear foot of north levee, 900 linear foot of sheetpile
wall, one 44 foot wide rollergate closure structure, one 3,000 gallon per
minute sewage effluent pumping station, and appurtenant drainage structure.
Work will be performed in Petersburg, West Virginia, and is expected to be
completed by November 7, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited by advertising in Business Daily
on July 7, 1995 and 7 bids received. The contracting activity is the U. S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Maryland (DACW31-96-C-0005).
NAVY
Lockheed Martin, Martin Marietta Government Electronics Systems, Moorestown,
New Jersey, is being awarded a $73,100,889 modification to previously awarded
contract N00024-94-C-5157 for DDG 51 Class AEGIS combat system installation and
testing, and AEGIS backfit design integration. Work will be performed in
Moorestown, New Jersey (73%), Bath Maine (17%), and Pascagoula, Mississippi
(10%), and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds in the
amount of $500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The
Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Today the Air Force is modifying a contract with UNC Lear Siegler,
Incorporated, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The modification is in the amount of
$5,100,000 to a firm fixed price contract for spare parts in support of the F-5
and C-130 aircraft and repair for assorted components for various aircraft.
The work will be performed at UNC Lear Siegler, Incorporated, San Antonio,
Texas. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. San
Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting
